What a fantastic day we had at the Oswestry Show!
The show was packed from start to finish, and it was a real pleasure to spend the day at the Una Vita Financial Planning stand meeting so many farmers, visitors, local businesses and fellow exhibitors.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat. Our cupcakes seemed to be the biggest attraction of the day, with our pens coming a close second!
It was particularly good to catch up with so many familiar faces and meet new ones. The show was a family affair for us too. My nephew and niece took part in the pony competitions, and there was certainly plenty to keep everyone entertained. One of the most spectacular sights of the day was watching the motorcycles flying high above our stand. It’s fair to say that was something you don’t see every day at a financial planning event!
What does “Freedom” mean to you?
One of the questions we were asked repeatedly throughout the day was about the word “Freedom” on our banner.
It’s a simple word, but one that means something different to everyone.
For some, financial freedom might mean being able to go to work because you want to, rather than because you have to. For others, it could mean having the financial security to spend more time with family, pursue a passion, travel, or simply enjoy the next chapter of life on their own terms.
It could even mean being able to pass on a legacy to the people you love with warm hands, giving you the opportunity to see the difference that your generosity can make during your lifetime.
That’s one of the reasons we believe financial planning is about much more than investments, pensions and numbers on a spreadsheet.
It’s about understanding what you want your money to help you achieve and then creating a plan that gives you the confidence and freedom to live your life accordingly.
Looking forward to next year
The Oswestry Show was busy, vibrant and brilliant fun, and we were delighted to be part of it. There were so many people to meet and so much to see that I only wish I’d had more time to explore the show myself!
Thank you once again to everyone who visited the Una Vita stand, stopped for a chat, enjoyed a cupcake, picked up a pen or simply came over to say hello.
We had a wonderful day and are already looking forward to doing it all again next year.
